Our regular meetings are held in the Temple and normally commence at 6:45pm.
Please note that our November meeting starts earlier, at 3:00pm.
Members customarily arrive at least 30 minutes before the published start time to allow for preparation, greetings, and the smooth conduct of Lodge business.
Following the Masonic work in the Temple, we retire to dine together, continuing the tradition of fellowship and good company. The evening’s formal proceedings are usually concluded by approximately 9:30pm.
After dining, the bar remains open until 11:30pm, providing members and guests the opportunity to continue socialising in a relaxed and convivial setting.
King Edward VII Lodge is a friendly and forward-looking Lodge. We encourage members of all ages and from all walks of life (some of our members are builders, plumbers, train drivers , accountants, firefighters etc). We take our Masonic ritual seriously, but we still have fun, especially at our Festive board afterwards which ends at approximately 9.30pm.
We encourage members to develop at their own pace, with help and advice being always at hand. We hold a regular Lodge of Instruction to encourage learning and friendship informally. We do like to involve our Ladies as much as possible. We always have a wonderful Ladies Night. This takes place during October each year. During which there is a dinner, live music and dancing for around 100 members and their guests.
