From its earliest days, Freemasonry has been committed to supporting orphans, the sick, the elderly, and a wide range of other deserving causes. All Wigmore Freemasons Lodges proudly contribute to this collective charitable effort, working together to support both established charities and smaller local causes that might otherwise go unnoticed. This shared commitment ensures that our support reaches those who need it most and reflects the strong sense of responsibility Freemasonry places on helping others. As a result, Freemasonry is now one of the largest charitable givers in the country.
In 2024/25 alone, the Masonic Charitable Foundation (MCF) donated over £27 million to good causes, providing much-needed support to local communities as well as national and international charities, and making a tangible difference to countless lives.
